Anyone here a connoisseur of antiques?

I'm not sure how far I'm going to get with this, but what's it hurt to try? I used to p by this quaint little shop on my way to school. It always seemed closed but I never worked up the courage to go inside (it was quite dark inside). Anyway, what really intrigued be about this shop was a statue that would appear in the window from time to time. It was of a white cat with yellow eyes, standing on its hind legs and playing a violin. This was years ago, so I might be a little fuzzy on my details here. I'm sure the cat was ceramic and that it wore clothing made of actual cloth. The clothing was a once piece with frillies on the cuffs and neck and it may have been blue on one side and white on the other, like a jester's outfit. The stand and violin may have been made of wood. If I had the money then, I would have bought it. The shop in question is (or was) in New York City, on 5th Ave between 14 and 18 street (can't remember exactly). I wonder if I can still find this cat or if it's lost forever.
