Is it chicken pox? fever, pimple like bumps...?

Yesterday my son got a few weird spots on him..at that time they were just red. I shrugged them off to be bug bites from being outside..about 4pm yesterday he woke up from a nap and was throwing up with a mild fever..When we went to get in the tub I noticed more spots, some with white centers. Popable bumps. Had a rough night, with x2 throwing up...and fever..He seems fine with fever reducer...bumps are still there but some seem to be scabbed and others still white in the middle. I would say about 20-25 total bumps. Most on legs. 3 on back and 3 on tummy. Doesnt seem to want much to eat, but he is drinking fine. What does this sound like to you? We are going to the doctors tomorrow but was hoping to get some insight before then >.>
