The future has just started to scare me?
I am going to become a sopre in college soon, and the thought of post-college has just started to worry me greatly. I don't attend the greatest college around (University of California Riverside), and I currently have a 3.3 gpa average which is decent at best. I'm also majoring in business, which is definitely one of the most competitive fields around. During my Freshman year I mainly focused on getting adjusted to my environment while enjoying myself, but now I know that won't cut it if I want to be a success. My plan for next year is to join a business fraternity for the sake of connections while working. For the summer of my sopre year I'm hoping to intern for a business in order to gain some experience that can actually be useful for my future. Yet amidst of all these future plans, I still feel like it's not enough. I see people in colleges known for business such as USC, Berkley, UCLA, and I can't help but feel a bit discouraged. I know I don't have the brightest mind around, but my drive to succeed in life is strong. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I should do during the rest of my college life in order to have a better chance at succeeding?
