To my route 66, next to i-15 heading to barstow, drivers?

alright i live in hesperia but go to school in san Bernardino, so when there's is too much traffic on the 15 i take route66 to avoid the traffic, and what i've noticed is that; there's is always a handful of cars on the side of the road on route 66. the cars are mostly in this one section of rt66,when going north towards Barstow, and you p the few houses that are there, there's like this section where there is no houses or anythin, i think there's a dried up river, and a little concrete wall. that is the section of rt66 where a bunch of cars seem to park, i don't think they stop because they are tired of driving because i've seen like grandmas and teenagers and adults and they're not even driving big cars or have out of state plates or anything, and there's always cars there's like during the daytime and nighttime... to me its sorta suspicious, and sorta weird.. is there something abnormal going on there? or does everyone just decide to chill there for fun all day long?
