WILL iT WORK ???

I'm thinking of buying one of those Japanese Straightening kits for my hair. I was wondering if it will work. I have curley hair and I hate it !! I straighten my hair alot and I'm sick of it ! OR does anyone know a hair dresser ( In Canberra, Australia) who permanently does it for CHEAP ?! Please help !
