Do you agree with this quote about technology?

No, I don't agree because that quote is too vague. What kind of technology? Regular phones? Computers? Televisions? The Spinning Jenny? I understand that some people would like to blame huge changes like technology for our society's problems but it's just not true. Look at how many people donated to the Haiti relief fund through telethons, texts, computers, etc. There are negative things to come from technology. There is a decrease in attachment to the real world in certain situations but it can sometimes have the reverse effect and allow others to connect to it.
