NEED HELP WITH MY PRINTER!!?

Ok... I have a HP PSC 1400. it was printing fine, all the sudden it stopped printing. but when i turn it off and back on it prints a test page. when i go to control panel on my computer it says "error- offline." the usb is connected! Please help!!
