Right Way to Shave?

Listen, I'm 12 and my mom doesn't want me to shave. (too bad for her) I know I can't talk to my dad about it, so I stole his shavining cream, Gillette Fusion. Do I rub the cream into my skin and then shave or do I leave it all puffy? Then How do you get the puff off the razor? Wipe it off? Also, can you use that stuff on your face?
