Is this a translation gone wrong or does it mean something else?

For Christmas I received some lotion and a perfume from a friend from Bath and Body Works. On the perfume it says Sweet Pea (the name of the perfume), 1 fl oz/30mL, and eau de toilette. The French translation to "eau de toilette" is "toilet water." Is this a mistake on the bottle or just a really bad translation on their part? Can someone please explain?
