Want to put 350 crate motor in my boat?

i just bought a 1975 chris craft catalina 25 ft bor 800 dollars it was super clean. the tag said k307 on the manifold the motor is cracked i have acsess to a crate 350 with low miles can i use it in this boat all i want is to cruise with it no high rpm running ?
